late on the first assignment!

as some of you may know, i'm back in school this semester. our first class meeting was supposed to be last wednesday. it was cancelled. i thought it would be a good idea to check my school email today to see what was going on with class. much to my surprise we had an assignment DUE LAST WEEK!!! great. the first assignment i've had since summer of 2007 and i'm a week late turning it in to the teacher. i'm sure that made a great impression. do you have any idea of how badly i want to graduate with high honors?! i'm in panic mode thinking this one assignment is going to cost me an A in the class further costing me honors! i have worked so hard to make straight a's. i have made a 4.0 4 out of 5 semesters. the 1 semester i didn't get a 4.0, i got a 3.8 instead. i literally cried. you would think " that's still really good mary elise, why did you cry?" i know there are people out there that thought i could never make 4.0s. i want to thank them. they are a small bit of fuel to the graduating with high honors fire.

day two

ahhh, day two of brad being out of town for the week. so far, so good. landry and i had alot of fun together yesterday. she let me love on her alot which i loved alot. this is the first post i've done out of just wanting to. the first one was for school. i'm typing while looking out of my bedroom window. it is cold and rainy today, again. tomorrow should be sunnier. woohoo! after i learn more about this whole blogging thing there will be pictures. this little bit will have to do for now. while landry is asleep i desperately need a shower.
