Second haircut

This past Saturday Landry received her second haircut. You can see from previous posts how long her hair was; the bathtub picture really shows how long her hair had grown. Cutting her hair to the length it is now involved cutting about 3 inches off! Landry's new haircut:

More Candy

Landry does her best to answer questions we ask her and say what we ask her to say. When we ask her to say "more candy" her version isn't exactly more candy. What does it sound like Landry is saying to you?

When it rains it floods...almost.

We have been getting rain since Thursday. Monday when Landry and I got home from school we decided we would play in the rain. There was a small break in the rain; it was only drizzling. Even though the raincoat Landry has is 18 months, it's time for another raincoat, that didn't stop her from loving wearing it and playing outside. Today it only rained this morning. This afternoon when I picked Landry up we went to the park!
Rain or shine, Landry is ready to play!

Making sure her house isn't flooded.

Check out the pants. Yes, we literally were expecting floods(in some places).

Landry insisted on wearing her hood up.

So stylish!

Enjoying her bubble bath.

Happy Birthday Gran!

Friday was Gran's birthday. We all went out for supper at The Keg in Plano. The meal and service we received was wonderful. It was so special to have Gran and Mom here with us for the occasion. Thanks Gran and Mom for driving out and staying with us. Happy Birthday Gran!

Fashion Weak

I remember when I was younger how much fun it was to go shopping. Every store had the perfect outfit for every occasion. The difficult part of shopping was picking only a few outfits so that there was money left over to go out and wear them. What the heck happened? I have looked at clothes in Kohls to Neiman Marcus and everywhere in between. I'm trying to venture out and have a style, preppy, classic, trendy or western I want just want to wear clothes that aren't plane Jane. Accessorizing gets my attention too. In the search for a style and accessories, I have come to 3 conclusions: designers must have a motto of "5 or less equals 5' or less"(if you're a size 5 or less your are 5 feet tall or less), there isn't a happy medium price point and everything looks the same, Kohls to Neimans.
