Arboretum 2013

I've always wanted to go to the Dallas Arboretum during the fall. It's pretty any time of year. In the fall it's decorated with pumpkins. It was what I had hoped it would be. I'm sure you'll see why by looking at the pictures.

There were so many different pumpkins and gourds. The colors were very festive.

Some of the pumpkins were quite large.

There were so many opportunities for pictures. I could've taken so many of the girls.

Reagan had to touch this leaf. It's almost as she is.

I've forgotten what this was called. It was in Marco Polo's journey.

Ponce De Leon's map.

Reagan wanted to touch the water. She tried and tried.

She enjoyed just watching the water.

There are even pumpkin houses!

Landry was a good sport and indulged her mom in posing for pictures.

Because Halloween was around the corner there was trick or treating and characters scattered about.

A hay maze.

A little baby pumpkin house.

Brad and his girls. This is probably my favorite house.

We coincidentally are all coordinated!

Landry on the bridge over a pumpkin pond.

Side shot of my fave house. I just love the fall colors.

Look closely and you'll see pumpkin "flowers". Also, the yellow and purple remind me of LSU.

Landry played in this exact pool when she was a little older than Reagan. Now she gets to show Reagan how to play.

Sliding down a pyramid!

We decided to take a break and get something to eat. While we ate we watched a magic show. It was nice to sit down. There was a little bit more to see before heading home.

Reagan wasn't feeling this picture.

Another family photo. Yay!

There was a little petting zoo.

Reagan was a little hesitant to pet the sheep.

She liked the little goat.

Landry wasn't afraid.

We saw kids walking around with their faces painted. Landry really wanted hers done. She patiently waited her turn.

Beginning.

Middle. She's so happy. Landry is such a sweet girl.

Finished product.
Meow!

Mommy daughter pic.

Sweet baby. Big pumpkins.

Landry's turn.

Yay, we get to get on the pumpkins again!

Mommy daughter moment number 2.

Even Landry got to play photographer. She did a good job.

Again, I could've taken so many pictures!

Happy 6th Birthday Landry!

Believe it or not Landry is 6!

Before she went to school Landry opened her present from Daddy and Mommy.

Yay! The Play Doh Bakery set and...

                                the Frosting Fun Bakery!

Landry had her choice of where she wanted to have dinner. She chose Chuck E. Cheese.

                                                                  Up, up and away.

                                                               Landry likes Skee Ball.

                                                            Reagan had some fun too.

This is as close as the girls would get to Chuck E.

                                                      Concentrating to win more tickets.

Landry was warmed up from Skee Ball so she gave Milk Jugs a try.

Saturday morning rolled around and Landry was ready to play with her new Play Doh sets.

                                                            Cupcakes for breakfast!

I think Landry thought Reagan forgot to get her a present. Boy was she surprised when she opened it!

Reagan gave her the accessory glasses she wanted and a singing card.

The next weekend was MS's fall break so that's when we had Landry's birthday party. She wanted a tea party. It just so happened that a friend of mine owns a tea room. How perfect!

We were able to see Landry's cake when we arrived. She was so pleased with the way they decorated it.

Megan, June, Eden, Landry and Audrey patiently waiting on the rest of the girls. Look how cute the table is decorated.

                                                          Bella and Kennedi arrived.

Peyton arrived. Now they're all here.

After chatting a little the girls' lunch was served.

They had tiara shaped turkey sandwiches, fruit kabobs and chocolate chip muffins.

Each girl also had her own teapot of pink tea.

Between lunch and cake the girls made bracelets.

They were really into making their bracelets.

                                                            Reagan had her own fun.

Brad modeled a tiara and wand for the girls.

We sang Happy Birthday to Landry and the cake was served!

June, Megan, Bella, Peyton, Kennedi, Landry, Eden and Audrey. Thank you all for coming to Landry's tea party!

As soon as we got home from the party Landry opened her presents. Happy girl!

Rylan and Audrey had never been to Chuck E. Cheese and Landry doesn't pass up an opportunity to go. So...guess where we went Saturday night for dinner?

Reagan loves pizza!

Landry's birthday and party were great. Jennifer and staff at Into My Garden Tearoom well exceeded our expectations for the party. Thank you so very much!
Thank you Pops, Meme, Blake, Morgan, Rylan and Audrey for coming out. We loved having y'all!
Wow, Landry is 6 now and growing into such a beautiful girl, inside and out. We are so proud of her.
