Summer is almost here!

Believe it or not, I'm more not, the school year has already started to melt into summer! Kindergarten was amazing! Landry's teacher was fantastic. Landry grew quite attached to her. Field day is a day every kid looks forward to. It didn't disappoint.

Landry with some classmates.

Reagan wanted to participate.

Between activities Landry loved on Reagan.

Go, go, go!

Miss Hatcher and Landry.

One little hiccup was Landry using Silly Putty as a pillow. It was chaotic trying to get the putty out, cutting as little hair as possible and not be late for school.

Poor baby. She was worried about being tardy.

Minimal hair cut.

Hot(ter) weather equals pool time!

Who needs to go to a waterpark with this setup?

One of my favorite summertime pictures of the girls.

This baby loves her crib!

Maddie and Landry at the end of the year party.

After playing with water guns the kids got to draw with chalk.

We love Miss Hatcher!

The real last day of kindergarten. Sniffle, sniffle.

About a week after school let our Meme came out. We love when Meme comes out!

Pool time, all the time. These girls are like mermaids.

One morning we went to a local splash pad.

Reagan was fine as long as she wasn't by herself.

She slowly warmed up to the water.

Before we left she was running around having fun.

Landry put a spell on the water.

Time for a snack break.

Meme rode back to Mississippi with me and the girls. We stayed a night with Reed and Chase then drove on to Clarksdale the next day.

Laylay took off from work to spend the day with us one day while we were there. She has a good friend who owns horses so after Reagan's nap we headed to the barn. The girls were very excited!

Landry loved being around the horses. She wasn't afraid.

It was fun being in the barn.

Horsey, horsey, here's some hay for you.

Whoa,  you're bigger than I thought!
Thank you Mrs. Kay for letting us visit your horses.

The next day we went to Duncan for some pool time! Sorry there aren't any pics of the girls swimming. I was in the pool and couldn't risk the camera taking a swim.

Sweet sisters tired out from swimming.

Out of wet suits into dry clothes. It's lunch time!

Skip came back to Texas with us. While she was here we hung out, did some Insanity, had book club, went shopping and enjoyed time together. It was a great visit with her!

The girls very much  missed their daddy while we were gone and were happy to see him when we got home.

Relaxing after a long trip back.

June came to an end and so did my year of being 34.
Brad and the girls did a fantastic job of picking the cake!

May, May please stay!

It feels weird to be posting about May in the middle of October. Nevertheless here's our May.
We went to the Scarborough Renaissance Festival and played...a lot!

Wahoo, no hands!

A fun time for all.

Time for a little sitting and resting. It's a long walk to the jousting match.

Our knight won!

A merry go round that's alive!

Round and around they go.

This is what Landry was most excited about and waited all day to see.

We saw real mermaids!

They were very friendly.

Reagan was amazed.

Pretties.

Reagan had a few questions.

She was interested in how the water felt.

At the Renaissance festival you're transported from a time of email to chainmail. It's extremely fun!

Then we went back to our time with backyards and lots of swinging.

Love her!

Sissy has the water. I'm going over there with her.

No rain? We'll make our own rain.

Nah nah nah nah nah.

A little lesson in patience.

Walk with me Daddy.

Sweet sisters.

Still being patient.
