A B C's and the movies we watch

Landry is able to say the entire alphabet. She skips to the end after G and V. We say H and she jumps right back on track, same with U. She also has different saying associated with the different movies we watch (maybe more than we should).

Play time is fun time!

It has been nice for me not having school. Landry and I have been able to do things we used to do like when I was a stay at home mom. I miss being a stay at home mom. The break from school is exactly what I needed. Now if we could find a dependable, trustworthy, age-appropirate, affordable babysitter Brad and I could have play time. Until then we will continue to have play time as a family.
The most fun Landry will have getting a full body x-ray.

Our little Mozart.

The first day this year we've been able to go to the park.

I don't know why she does this. It's kind of funny.

Landry slides down the big slide by herself now that she's a big girl.

Hey, Tyra, how's this for wind in your hair? (if you watch America's Next Top Model, you get this)

Bread is stuck in her teeth.

Running down the "mountain".

Landry the tree hugger. She knows about being "green".

Christmas Eve and Day

We made it back to Texas Wednesday night. Thank goodness we came back when we did. It started snowing Christmas afternoon. We wrote Santa a letter, left him a snack and went to sleep. It was still snowing. We woke up Christmas morning to a very white Christmas! Landry woke up excited to see what Santa had brought her. We had the majority of Christmas day to ourselves. Landry played with her new toys and watched her new movies while Brad and I relaxed and got ready for all of his family to arrive.

It was snowing hard Christmas Eve.

Landry catching snowflakes on her tongue.

Landry's letter to Santa and the non-traditional snack. We figured he would enjoy a break from the cookies so we left a mini bagel. The reindeer got a snack of fruit loops.

Christmas morning.

Santa knew Landry was into Disney, especially the Disney Princesses. Look, he ate his mini bagel!

Landry and her stocking.

What's in there?

Yay, this is stuff I wanted!

Pops putting Landry's scooter together. Rylan is supervising.
Our house became a speedway.

I love my scooter.

We are all looking in the direction of the camera!
Thank you Pops and Meme, Uncle Duhduh and Aunt Bug, Uncle Blake and Aunt Morgan and Rylan for coming to our house for Christmas! We loved having all of y'all. Come again soon and stay longer.

Christmas with Poppa and Nanna

During the week one night we had Christmas with Poppa and Nanna. It was good food and fun. Dad makes the best bar b que. Amber made potato salad to go with our sandwiches. Dessert was homemade pecan and chess pies.
After dinner we opened presents! It was fun watching Landry open all of her presents. Brad and I didn't do bad either :)
Daddy checking out one of Landry's presents.
Watching Naz and Aunt Skip open their presents.

Landry opened her presents by herself.

Nanna, Landry and Poppa.

Thank you Poppa and Nanna for our Christmas. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our time with y'all!

Christmas with Laylay

Christmas seemed to be endless this year. One night we stayed with my mom and did Christmas with her the next moring. It was fun watching Landry open her gifts. I didn't take a ton of pictures. I was busy watching everyone open their presents.
Opening a book about the Christmas star.

What could it be ?!

Thank you Laylay!!!

I love my Little Mermaid big wheels!

McMurchy Family Christmas

We had many different Christmas' this year. Sunday was Christmas with the McMurchys. Landry was ready to everyone, especially Reed. We while enjoying various desserts we visited, laughed and had fun being with each other.
Laylay and Landry playing with some toys.

Gran, Reed and Landry hanging out.

Reed opening his combine.

Landry getting ready to see what's inside of her suitcase.

Gran and Landry looking at Gran's present.

They love each other.

The best presents: a combine and toliet seat.

Landry's "at the moment" favorite pose for pictures when her mother wants her to be sweet and smile.

I want money, lots and lots of money...Reed and Landry had tons of fun scattering about $30 worth of change all over the floor.

One of the presents Landry received was a Jack in the Box. She has played with them in Target so she was familiar with what it was. Because she knows what happens after a few turns on the handle she stops before the jack jumps out of his box; it startles her. Sometimes she laughs after he jumps out and other times she won't play with him anymore. I am glad I was recording this paticular encounter with the Jack in the Box. I love her reaction.

We very much enjoyed being in Duncan with family. After the kids opened their presents and had something to play with the adults opened their presents. We play "Dirty Santa" with our gifts. This year everyone wanted their own gift and no one really stole. I'm looking forward to next year.
