Happy Easter!

We had a nice and relaxing Easter. As usual, we started 12 days out with the Resurrection Eggs. I know the Easter story better now than ever because of those eggs. The girls, mainly Landry, know the story as well. The girls were excited about the Easter Bunny. How does a bunny fit into Easter, I wonder? That isn't in the story with the eggs.

The girls really wanted to paint Easter eggs.

They got to practice on the outside wastebasket!

Yay, the real thing!
We dye eggs and put them out for the Easter Bunny to hide. Easter morning the girls wake up and check their baskets then we hunt eggs.

Of course Reagan went for the chocolate!

Time to hunt eggs...in a light rain!

Once the girls had all of the eggs and we headed inside it really started raining. It rained the whole time we were getting ready to go to church. Then, as if on cue, it stopped when we got ready to go inside.

Hello 2015!

We welcomed 2015 with a bang. Well, for January, it was more like a crash. February saw Landry and Brad go to their first Daddy and Daughter dance. We all got to go to the park sledding before February turned into March.

One afternoon in January there was some serious winds blowing. The wind was blowing enough that in the 10 minutes it took to get Landry from school and get back home a limb had fallen on the fence and Brad's car!

The scratches weren't too bad.

It was a decent size limb that fell. There was no getting back into the garage.

Thank goodness there wasn't any major damage done to the fence!

I was able to completely clear the driveway and fix the fence.

Meanwhile, inside, the girls were having fun in their tent with all of  their friends.

Rea Rea.

Doodle Bug.

The limb falling was our excitement for January. February's excitement was shopping for a dress to wear to the Daddy/Daughter dance Valentine's Day, and playing in the snow!

Landry picked out her dress. I promise she's 7 in this picture, hard to believe though isn't it?!

Reagan wasn't happy about not getting to go.

Awww! Aren't they good looking!

Reagan thought Landry looked like a princess so she took a picture.

Valentine's Day!

Big little helper.

Pops and Meme came to our house!

Before February left we got snow, a fun amount of snow. The best part, there wasn't that much ice.

Sissy reading Rea a bed time story.

Bundled up ready and ready to play in the snow!

Say freeze!

City sled aka pool float.

We headed back to the warm car right after this picture. We were all freezing!

Home sweet home.

Do you want to build a snowman?

Watch out!

Tah dah!
