Plano Balloon Festival 2012

Eating a picnic supper waiting for the balloons. Reagan slept almost the whole time.

Some of the balloons.

The first balloon inflated and off was the Plano one.

Hey, there's something above your heads!

Cheese!

The balloons were so pretty and colorful.

They're off!

While we waited for the balloons we were entertained by some skydivers.

We look forward to next year's balloon festival.

Heads Up

Ahh, the infamous tummy time. Landry wasn't really a fan. Reagan is ok with it for short amounts of time. She's been practicing and is getting better and better. Here she is at 5 weeks old.

After multiple attempts to upload this video into this post I finally had to upload it to youtube. Here's the link:

Reagan Marie is here!

Reagan is finally here! Although I must say, this pregnancy went by so quickly. The first trimester was between the end of school and beginning of student teaching, the second trimester was student teaching and the third trimester began with graduation. This was a quick pregnancy for many of you reading this due to our not telling for so long.

Us at the hospital Monday morning, July 30 at 7:15. We arrived a family of 3.

We're happy and excited to meet Reagan!

While Landry was there for a little bit she watched the Disney channel.

I played Words with Friends and...

Brad checked the weather for the week. We were a little warm, just a little.

Pitocin was started at 8:48 that morning. Noon rolled around and I was 5 centimeters dilated. Dr. Bailey came around 3:30 and broke my water. Boy did that get things going. Things progressed so quickly that Liz, my labor and delivery nurse, almost delivered Reagan. Dr. Bailey literally walked in, into her smock/robe, held her hands out and caught Reagan at 6:28 that evening!

Hello Reagan Marie Johnston.

Brad and I had a few hours with Reagan by ourselves before Landry came to the hospital to meet her new baby sister.

Landry immediately loved Reagan.

Landry enjoyed holding Reagan and being all together as a family. She spent Monday night at Mrs. Joanne's house and Tuesday night in the hospital with us.

We left Wednesday around noon, a family of 4.

Landry couldn't wait to call a friend to share that her baby sister had been born.

Reagan does alot of this.

She does wake up here and there.

Landry and Daddy gave Reagan her first bath at home.

Landry was very gentle and caring.

Sweet baby.

Sisterly love.

Landry even likes holding Reagan. Reagan likes being in her big sister's arms.

Good morning!

Cupcakes from the Sip and See some dear friends hosted.

Reagan at exactly 1 month. Can you believe she's a month old already?!

Landry telling Reagan a story.

So precious!
