Water and Park

Playing in the sprinkler on a hot day is a time old activity. At our house it never gets old (or outgrown, thank goodness)! The girls have such a fun time running up and down the sidewalk getting soaked. They giggle and giggle some more. You can't help but smile.

Ahh, cooled down and taking a break.

Landry is mid laugh with Reagan doing her best to keep up.

This is so much fun!

Woohoo!

I need a drink.

Me too.
When the weather is pleasant you can definitely find us outside. We like to go to the park a lot.

This baby loves swinging.

Landry can swing all by herself!

You know she's looking to see what Landry is doing.

Sweet girls.

Hey sister, come on down!

Ugh, sister, where'd you go?

Oh there you are!

Calling all superheroes!

Could a year have passed already? Reagan is really 1 year old? Wow time flew by! We started thinking of a theme for Reagan's party. After narrowing it down to 2 themes we decided to go with Oneder Woman. Afterall, you can only do it for the first birthday. Luckily, because we're kind of into superheroes anyway, we already had a Wonder Woman costume.

We took a few pictures, ok a lot actually, to choose from for the invite.

Have no fear, I will save you!

I laugh in the face of danger!

Final choice. Villains be gone, I have a party to attend.

Landry was so excited to help make Reag's cake.

Before going into the oven.

Mommy and Daddy with the birthday girl.

We had Super Serum (sierra mist), Wonder Water or Bat Brew (grape juice) to drink.

Target's seasonal section just happened to be superhero themed.

Welcome superheroes.

Not only did Landry help make and bake the cake, she helped decorate it as well. We used fondant and airheads for the stars. Landry wrote Oneder Woman all by herself with edible marker.

Time to sing and eat cake!

When we didn't stop Reagan from putting her hands on the cake she got so excited!

At first she was neat about playing with her cake.

Before she finished she had cake up to her elbows and from ear to ear.

A little milk to wash it down.

Canary, ,Batman and Supergirl came to Reagan's party!

Oneder Woman joined the group.

A few more pics:

Stella, Robin and Ellie

Hey, where'd my tray go?

When we all started singing Reag just looked around at everyone.

One already!

Thank you to everyone who helped with and came to Reagan's first birthday. We missed those of you who couldn't make it.

Reagan is 12 months, a little Oneder Woman

I can't believe Reagan is 1!!! The past year has flown by so fast. Now that she's one Reagan:
still naps twice a day
wakes up before 7 am
goes to sleep around 8 pm
is climbing on any and everything
plays hide and seek
crawls under tables and her high chair
isn't a fan of her car seat
likes almost all foods
wears size 12 or 12-18 month clothes
(still) nurses 4x a day
wants to do whatever her sister is doing
talks, babbles...a lot
has 4 teeth on the top and bottom

Suprise, we're going to the circus!

How long has it been since you went to the circus? It had been a while for us too. Landry had never been, Reagan either (haha). She really wanted to go too! It just so happened that the circus was coming to town right around the time of Reagan's birthday party. Gasp, what if we surprised everyone with a trip to the circus?! How fun would that be? We ordered tickets and agreed we wouldn't tell where we were going until we were in the car. Landry, ever the secret keeper, was so excited to tell everyone we were going to the circus! I'm not sure if they believed her at first.

The view from our seats.

The circus opened with the Star Spangled Banner which was cool.

Elephants!

A lot of coordination went into the horse act!

Love the big kitties!

Look at them!

Ok, the girls in the bubbles made me nervous!
They were way above the floor and didn't have any safety nets or harnesses.

Then they hung out the bottom of the bubbles!

Intermission selfie.

Gentle giants.

The elephants, along with the lions and tigers, were so fun to watch.

The circus was Ringling Bros and Barnum: Dragons. At the
end a "real" fire breathing dragon came out!

Family pic! Reagan was circused out.
