When we went to Landry's 2 year check up I asked the doctor if there was anything we needed to change about Landry's diet. He asked if she was eating well. Landry has always been a good eater (wonder where she gets that from) so without hesitation I told him yes and asked if that would that change. I take what he said next as a little warning in a way. He said "She's going to start having her favorites". Well, he knew what he was talking about! A week later, literally, Landry told me for the first time "I no like it". I couldn't help but laugh. She was saying she did'nt like macaroni and cheese. She has always liked mac and cheese! Ok, giving her the benefit of the doubt, no more mac and cheese in this sitting. I gave her a bite of applesauce. "I no like it" she said again. Now I know good and well she likes applesauce! The whole thing was quite funny. Spitting on the floor...not so funny.

Spacing the last post
I went back literally 7 times to edit the last post. The pictures aren't spaced how I want them. Some are further apart than others and some aren't apart at all. I have no idea how to fix the spacing. Spacing in the last post is driving me nuts!

A trip to the pumpkin farm...
Saturday afternoon we went to Hall's Pumpkin Farm with some friends. We all had a lot of fun. It was especially nice that there were a lot of activities for kids Landry's age. Yes, we all wore white shirts and blue jeans on purpose. Come on, I knew there would be some great photo opts (and we hardly have any pictures of all 3 of us). One thing we forgot while we were there....a pumpkin!
One of our family pictures.

Landry called this a "bitty" pumpkin (bitty means little).
Our favorite picture.
Walking on the hay with Mommy.
The family pictures didn't turn our exactly like I had hoped, we should have taken them right when we arrived. Landry wasn't much for sitting still after discovering the fun things she could do. Never the less we took some great pictures and thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the pumpkin farm.

Reed came to Landry's house!
The weekend after Landry's party Chris, Erin and Reed came to our house! We were so excited about them staying the weekend with us. Reed and Landry laughed, they played, they chased each other, they jumped on the furniture, they banged their feet on the wall, they played hided and seek (with the help of Chris and Brad) together and they slept very sound at night! The weather wasn't the driest or even the warmest. It was rainy and coldish the whole time. So, we went to the Dallas Aquarium.
Family pic.

Landry wanted to see Gill again.
Touching "penguin water".
I love Reed's expression in this picture.
So sweet.
The rain and cold didn't stop us from having a wonderful time. Watching Reed and Landry play together brought such joy to us. We are already ready to see Chris, Erin and Reed again. Landry keeps asking, by name, where they went. "Chris go?" "Erin go?" "Reed go?" She asks about Reed the most, sorry Chris and Erin :) We are very ready to see y'all again for Christmas! Thanks again for staying with us.

Happy Birthday Landry!
We celebrated Landry's second birthday this weekend! It was a wonderful party filled with family fun and perfect weather. To start the party we gathered in the dining room and sang. Landry enjoyed all of us singing "Happy Birthday" to her. We ate, opened gifts and played outside.
A little help from Dad and Mom blowing the candle out.
This is my piece.
Being silly.
Here's the ball back. Can I play?
What do you mean the party is over?
Granma, this is Snow White.
Landry's party could not have been any closer to what we hoped it would be. Thank you Uncle Dustin and Aunt Danielle for letting us use your house and helping with food and decorations. Thank you Granma, Darlene, Lizzie and David for driving from New Orleans. Thank you Uncle Blake, Aunt Morgan and Rylan for driving from Mer Rouge. Thank you Pops and Meme for watching Landry Friday night and helping with the food and balloons. Thank you Gran, Laylay and Skip for being with us. Thank you Chris, Erin and Reed for coming and playing with us (and letting me do homework at your house). Thank you Uncle Lynn, Joni and Kelley for your company. We missed all of you that weren't able to be there.
We now have a 2 year old!!!
