Dallas Daycation

One Saturday we decided to go downtown and explore. The weather was perfect for getting out and about. We found parking in the Arts District. It has outdoor water features and art "sculptures".

Landry really wanted to stick her feet in the water. Upon making sure no one was around we said ok.

Cheese!
It's rare that both girls are looking at the camera at the same time.

Landry could care less about the art aspect of the sculptures. She liked being able to climb though.

She was playing and climbing on this one. Someone from the art museum got onto me about it. That's how I know these are supposed to be "art". I couldn't tell just by looking at them.

More water!

Peek a boo!

Ahh, refreshing.

Ahh, refweshing!

Dallas has so much to offer in terms of things to do and see. We rarely take advantage. I'm glad we did. It was fun walking around, seeing the buildings (some covered with a huge ad), playing in the water and people watching.
