Our Halloween...Happy Birthday Rylan!

Halloween day we headed to Louisiana to celebrate Rylan's very first birthday. The drive wasn't bad. The trip was much shorter than we would have liked. It was great getting to be with Brad's side of the family and we can't wait to see everyone again for Thanksgiving!
Landry is very happy. We stopped for lunch at the "big M".

Of course we had to play in the playland.

Rylan examining the icing.

I think I'll try this stuff.

Oh boy this is good!

I did get some in my mouth, seeeee.

Birthdays are the best!

Landry on the old school swing set.

Rylan striking a pose at the top of the slide.

Landry took a break from swinging to enjoy a cupcake.

She ended up sliding off of the swing seat and hitting her chin. You can barely see her booboo.

The booboo was made a little more tolerable with a popsicle.

Before we went our seperate ways I was able to get the Johnston boys to pose for picture. I asked them to pretend it was 1983.

On the way home we ate supper at Cracker Barrel. Landry and Brad playing checkers while we waited on the food.
