A Voyage of the Dawn Treader event

Landry really likes The Chronicles of Narnia. Well, wouldn't you know a Narnian event was held at The Shops at Willow Bend (about 15 minutes from our house). It was an evening of Christmas songs, dancing, stilt walkers, Santa and Mrs. Claus, the lighting of the Ice Palace and last but not least Lucy and another character from the new Narnia movie Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Despite it being my second time to go to a mall in one day off we went! Brad came straight from work to meet us.

Landry was having a good time before things even got started.

The stilt walkers were neat from a distance...

...kind of scary up close.

Santa and Mrs. Claus! Landry kept telling him "I've been nice Santa. If you're naughty you get zero presents".

Yay! Daddy made it and found us in the crowd. Brad and Landry anxiously waiting for Lucy.

Landry knew exactly who this was.

Lucy. She looks so grown up compared to how she looked in the first movie.

Lucy and her cousin Eustace.

Lighting the Ice Palace. There were multiple life size snow globes with Narnian pictures in them. It was pretty neat. The line to walk through was very long. We asked Landry what she wanted to do. She said she wanted to get a balloon.

Telling the elf what kind of balloon she wanted.

Waiting and watching...

She asked for a flower and that's the stem.

We thought the stilt walkers looked like extras from the masked ball scene in Labrynth. Landry thought they were sooooo tall.

An Aslan snow globe. He's probably Landry's favorite character although Lucy comes in a close second place.

I just like this picture.
